Only Ghost - Post Oni

Trained assassin, in the sense of the word as it is less commonly known - the saviour of the community, vanquisher of demonspawn. So is this man. People debate whether his name is only "Ghost," or if his name is really "Only Ghost." Thus, some people prefer the name Ghost, as is the safest way to go about it.

After a fight with an oni of high rank (if there is such a thing amongst the vile creatures), whose essence fused with that of Ghost's, the assassin became more adept with the shadows, and wtih practice, allowed him to perform extraordinary feats of heroism. Despite doubts from his peers, the essence of the oni is non-sentient; Ghost has complete control over his powers. These powers materialize as what can only be described as frozen shadows around his forearms. He wears a hooded apprentice's tunic, despite being highly more competent then his master, and has numerous blades strapped to his beltes and boots. Tools of the trade, indeed.

Ghost has wielded many weapons through his career. Some accounts note him using dual scimitars that could steal the life-force of his enemies, while others say he tore the mandibles from the maw of a great insect, and used those to fight with. Still others claimed to have seen him hold but a lowly staff, which allowed him to stay in the realm of shadow for extended periods of time. Despite this, his trademark blades are twin kamas, depicted as having dragons on the handles, the blade made from the flames the dragons produced.

Although many are unsure of his abrubt dissappearance, many proclaim him dead, felled by the blade of some shadowy denizen. However, every so often a story comes through a village, men and women talking of how they were saved by a man whose arms were the focus of shadows, his blades the bane of darkness. Ghost might be out there still, after more than two centuries, blessed with eternal youth by God to defend those in peril.

His story shall never reach an end, and his blades shall never tire in the fight against the darkest of creatures.

Yay stories! ^^ Awesome character, armor is based of his in-game appearance in Guild Wars. And yes, that is a non-prestige tunic. It looks better than the gawdy spike I had before. >.>
