Description
Used 3 pieces of paper, which can come from one piece of printer paper, which I will explain below.
The other day, I saw 's Origami Hydralisk, and I tried doing it again after a year of being a master (No joke). So, this got me into the mood of doing random origami stuff. Yesterday, I made some random Starcraft stuff, some Hydras and drones and mutalisks. Then, just this morning I was meesing around and made what looked like claws and a crest. Then, later I kept at it, and I created a suitable body.
Now, if you were in my position today, you would have probably never even tried to connect those two. It seemed impossible. Yet, I did it.
But something was missing... For my little guy was headless. So I took some excess paper, a nice, long strand, made a head, hooked it on, and connected it the same way as the top claws. This is where I tried to stand it up. I then decided I had made a breakthrough.
So to all the people out there, who are looking for an origami Zergling, you have arrived!
To the whole paper thing mentioned above, what I did was this. I took one corner, made a triangle, which I then used to create a square of paper from it. I then took the paper left over from the square, did the same thing to get two squares and a rectangle. Discarding one square, I did it yet AGAIN to the rectangle, getting a thin strip.
The pieces I used are as followed:
Large square - claws and crest
Smaller square - body, legs and arms
Thin strip - head
Stay tuned folks, because shortly I shall make a tutorial for these little guys. Enjoy!
